It was an easy drive to Sebastian, FL. We drove to Gem Island to have dinner with Jim and Sheila Mills. They have a 16,000 square foot home that is absolutely gorgeous. They have 8 children and 16 grandchildren. They have us beat now. We had dinner at their clubhouse and all but a couple of their children were there to greet us. It had been a long time since we had seen most of them. We had a great visit and a delicious meal.
Went to Jim and Sheila’s at 9:00 a.m. to spend the day with them. Jim and Larry went off with some of Jim’s sons to play a round of golf. Sheila and I ran some errands and they went and picked up her grandson, Max, who is 8 years old. We took him to lunch and to a book store. It was lucky for me because I found several wind-up toys to add to my collection. Max was really fun and I loved his English accent (he lives in London). We had lots of laughs and after buying him some toys, we returned him to his mom. Jim and Sheila prepared a fabulous (Larry’s word) lobster dinner. The lobster was such a treat and it was delicious. After dinner we watched a movie and then said our good byes.
